New sessions now available through June! The Genealogy Program occurs on the third Wednesday of every month. Please click the registration button above, select your preferred date, and choose from the available 45-minute sessions.

Interested in researching your family history? Sign up for the Nordic Genealogy Program, which includes a 45-minute, one-on-one consultation with Kathi McGinnes of the Seattle Genealogical Society. Time slots are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note this monthly program often sells out. Advance reservations are encouraged.

Family historians of any experience level welcome.

Genealogy Database Subscriptions

Visitors may conduct their own online research using Genealogy subscriptions, offered free of charge by the Museum.

Databases include:

  • Ancestry (World Explorer)
  • Ellis Island Foundation
  • ArkivDigital (Sweden)
  • Digitalarkivet (Norway)
  • Íslendingabók
