Scandinavian Genealogy Research

with Jill Morelli

1–4pm

Are you intimidated by international genealogy research? Not to worry—Scandinavian records are some of the most approachable! In this course, participants will learn how to access and effectively use the “Big Three”—parish, census/clerical surveys, and emigration records for Denmark, Sweden, and Norway. This highly interactive class will ensure that each participant leaves the session with a research plan specific for their country of origin.

Morelli writes and lectures extensively in the Puget Sound area on subjects related to genealogical records sets and successful research techniques, as well as her German and Scandinavian heritage.  She blogs about methodology and problem-solving for the “on-the-clock” genealogist.

Cost: $20 for Members, $25 general admission.

Class size is limited and registration is required, so please register in advance. Course will be cancelled with full refund if minimum enrollment is not met. No refunds or credit for missed classes. Please contact Michael King, Adult Education Coordinator, for additional information at 206-789-5707 x7037 or [email protected].
