Explore the potential of color in knitting! In this 2 day class, artist Allyce Wood will share tools and techniques to create evocative and graphic images in knit.

*Please note that this is a two-day class, May 4 and 5. One purchased ticket includes Saturday and Sunday.

About the Class:

Learn how to draft a functional color chart for hand knitting and the ins and outs of tensioning and floats. Students are welcome to bring their own needles and yarns to test with or use Museum-provided materials. Examine the possibilities of artistic knit designs that expand from wearable garments into the abstract, the sculptural, or the avant-garde. Let your expression guide your knitting needles!
