Nordic Knitting Conference
October 6–8, 2017

Our annual Nordic Knitting Conference features world-class knitting instructors, including Norway's Arne & Carlos, the whimsical duo of knitted Christmas ball fame! Volunteer opportunities will span the weekend and include helping with registration, class assistance, and conference support; reception and banquet support; and setup and cleanup activities. 
 

Yulefest
November 18–19, 2017

Our beloved Christmas festival features Nordic specialties such as open-faced sandwiches, rømmegrøt, æbleskiver, glögg, the spectacular Goodies to Go, Yulefest raffle, craft vendors, Santa Photos, music and dancing, and more! Volunteer to help us make this year’s Yulefest our best ever!
 

Viking Days
August 19–20, 2017

Support the Museum while you discover your inner Viking!

Our annual summer festival features great Nordic food, entertainment, craft demonstrations, and, of course, Vikings! Sign up to fry pancakes, grill brats, bake æbleskiver, pour beer, run supplies, sell raffle tickets, and much more! Volunteer perks include a festival T-shirt, food, and fun!
 

Nordic Culinary Conference

We welcome world-class chefs from the Nordic countries to Seattle to give lectures and demonstrations on contemporary Nordic cuisine. Volunteer opportunities include helping with registration; class and chef support; conference support; reception and banquet support; and setup and cleanup activities.
