Welcome to camp at the National Nordic Museum! We offer winter and summer camps in beautiful Ballard, with a focus on educational and creative youth programs inspired by Nordic culture.
The National Nordic Museum leads two camps each summer, introducing children ages 6-11 to Nordic culture through of art, innovation, and sustainability.
July 13-17, 2026
Ages 9-11
This summer, explore Nordic themes through hands-on art projects and creative activities! 🎨 Campers will discover elements of Nordic mythology, nature, patterns, and traditions while expressing themselves through a variety of artistic mediums.
July 20-24, 2026
Ages 6-8
Spark curiosity and creativity at our Innovation & Sustainability Summer Camp! 🌏 This hands-on camp introduces young learners to the basics of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math through fun, age-appropriate projects focused on caring for our planet.

Step into a world of Norse myth, magic, and imagination in a new winter camp for kids ages 9-11!
Scholarships are available for families who demonstrate significant financial need and would otherwise be unable to participate in the National Nordic Museum's summer camps*. Eligibility is based on the HUD Income Guidelines for King County.
Financial assistance is awarded on a sliding scale, scholarships covering approximately 20%–70% of camp tuition. Families are expected to contribute a minimum of 30% of the total tuition. We can award up to 2 scholarships per camp.

Hay becas disponibles para familias que demuestran una necesidad económica significativa y que, de otro modo, no podrían participar en los campamentos de verano del National Nordic Museum*. La elegibilidad se basa en las Pautas de Ingresos del HUD para King County.
La asistencia financiera se otorga según una escala variable; las becas cubren aproximadamente entre el 20 % y el 70 % del costo del campamento. Se espera que las familias contribuyan con un mínimo del 30 % del costo total. Solo podemos otorgar hasta 2 becas por campamento.
