The Museum is open Tuesday-Sunday. The Museum is open year-round with the exception of Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day.

The National Nordic Museum’s parking lot is located on the south side of the building and can be accessed from the corner of NW Market St and 28th Ave NW. Parking rates are $2.00 per hour and must be paid at the parking kiosks located at the base of the stairs or via app with REEF Mobile.

Alternative parking options are available along NW Market Street, in the residential neighborhoods surrounding the Museum, and at the Hiram Chittenden Locks parking lot—a five-minute walk to the Museum.

Ballard is serviced by Metro buses 17 and 44.

A login is only required when purchasing tickets or renewing a Membership. Logging in ensures that Membership benefits are applied at checkout. To receive a copy of a Membership card with the NARM logo, check the confirmation email sent after Membership purchase or renewal with the subject line "Your Nordic Museum Membership"

The Museum’s Curatorial Department is unable to assist with appraisals of artwork and artifacts or advise on the buying and selling of such objects. Please contact the American Society of Appraisers to find a qualified professional near you. For questions about the conservation of objects, please consult the American Institute for Conservation.
