Monica Huntsberry left her 25-year corporate career and began to pursue a creative journey focused on the topic of leaving. She’ll talk about her conversations with more than 50 women about their experiences in making a change.
Donna will share insights on how she manifests and embraces change, including making a big decision to close her iconic Seattle restaurant Marjorie’s and open up in a new location, step into a new career, and leverage her experience in creating community on a broader scale.
Petra will talk about the importance of accessing nature as a touchstone in times of transition. She will also focus on ways to re-energize in the outdoors and how we make personal discoveries and find courage during times of change.
Appetizers and wine will be served.
The event will be hosted at the National Nordic Museum, beautifully designed by local architecture firm Mithun and opened in 2018 in Seattle’s Ballard neighborhood. The Museum’s achievements were acknowledged in 2019 with the Museum was designated as the National Nordic Museum by an act of Congress. In building embodies Nordic design and functions both as museum and community gathering place.
