Expand your skills and continue learning about this ancient textile art form. Nålebinding (or nalbinding), also known as needlebinding or “Viking knitting,” is an ancient fiber craft that predates knitting by over seven thousand years. Nalbinding fragments have been found all over the world, including numerous Viking settlement excavations.
