Date

Admission

Join Swedish writer and filmmaker Maja Hagerman for a compelling discussion on her extensive research on the spread of racial theories in academic communities in the Nordic countries between 1910 and 1935, with a focus on Swedish race biologist Herman Lundborg. Hagerman's research formed the basis of her documentary film, to be screened virtually at a later date.

Presented in conjunction with Anne-Karin Furunes: Illuminating Nordic Archives, this program examines a critical chapter in Nordic history. Anne-Karin Furunes will be in conversation with Maja Hagerman.
