Jónsi's FLÓÐ
The National Nordic Museum presents Jónsi's FLÓÐ (Flood). Created specifically for the Museum by Jónsi (Jón Þór Birgisson), lead singer of the world-famous Icelandic post-rock band Sigur Rós, FLÓÐ is the focus of the artist's first museum exhibition in the United States.

Alvar Aalto’s Jyväskylä by Janne Tuunanen
Finnish photographer Janne Tuunanen explored famed architect Alvar Aalto’s early projects in their shared Finnish hometown Jyväskylä. Aalto’s renown was cemented by his later works of industrial and architectural design, but his hometown boasts his early and often overlooked work. Tuunanen wanted to bring attention to Jyväskylä and photograph the locations from a different angle.
