This summer we're bringing your favorite Moomin characters to the big screen with a series of Moomin Movie Nights inspired by our current special exhibitions, Moomins' Sea Adventures and Tove and the Sea.
The second film in the series is Comet in Moominland (1992), the first film adaptation of Tove Jansson's Moomin stories.

Moomintroll is making a special appearance before the event! Come early to meet and take photos with Moomin before enjoying the film.
Moomintroll, Sniff, and Little My set out on an incredible journey to
save Moominvalley from a looming disaster. A massive comet is on a
collision
course with the peaceful valley, threatening to destroy it. They team
up with Snufkin, Snorkmaiden, Snork, and Hemulen, and together they must
find the courage to protect their home.
Their adventure presents challenges that test their friendship and loyalty. The story highlights the importance of working together and supporting each other when facing difficulties. As they explore stunning landscapes, the characters learn the power of unity and teamwork, discovering that even the biggest problems can be overcome with love, bravery, and a touch of magic.
