Skål Beer Hall Gløgg

Serves 5 to 6

  • 1 Bottle Gård Red Blend
  • 1 tsp whole clove
  • 1 tsp whole allspice
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 4 tbsp raisins
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 pods star anise
  • 1/4 tsp ground ginger
  • 1/4 tsp ground cardamom
  • 1/2 orange (sliced in wheels)
  • 1/2 apple (thin segments)
  • 1/2 cup Linie Aquavit

Slowly heat all ingredients (except aquavit) on low heat to just below simmer for 30 min. To serve, add raisins and any other tasty items you'd like from the gløgg mix to a mug. Add 5 to 6 oz of gløgg. Float with 1 oz aquavit. Serve with small spoon to scoop out the raisins. Skål!
