Taste of Iceland: Iceland’s Crime Fiction Royalty

As part of Taste of Iceland Seattle (Oct 3-5), join "the Queen and King of Icelandic crime fiction," authors Yrsa Sigurðardóttir and Ragnar Jónasson, for a conversation about their recent novels, literature, and life. Hosted by Inspired by Iceland and held at the National Nordic Museum, this event offers a rare opportunity to hear from two of the country's top crime writers. Their novels Reykjavík (Jónasson) and The Legacy (Sigurðardóttir) will be available for sale, as well as Jónasson upcoming novel Death at the Sanatorium. Both authors will be signing books at the event.

Those attending this program must purchase a separate Admission ticket to enter the rest of the Museum. Check in with our Admissions desk when you arrive, or purchase ahead of time!

Taste of Iceland

Experience some of the best Iceland has to offer! Taste of Iceland is on tour and making its third stop in Seattle from October 3-5. During the three-day festival, Seattleites can transport themselves to Iceland through events inspired by and celebrating Icelandic culture through food, music, nature, comedy, design, and wellness.

Taste of Iceland will host events with local businesses in Seattle and official partners, including KEXP, Palace Kitchen, Life on Mars, National Nordic Museum, Railspur Gallery, and Block 41.
