The Nordic Response: Security, Democracy, and the Future of Europe

Date

Admission

Join us for a timely conversation with former Prime Minister of Norway, Erna Solberg, on the pressing security challenges shaping Europe and the world today.

Solberg will share her perspectives on the war in Ukraine, instability in the Middle East, the future of NATO, and the evolving relationship between Europe and the United States. Drawing on Norway’s position at the crossroads of Nordic cooperation, European security, and transatlantic diplomacy, she will reflect on how the Nordic region is responding to a rapidly changing global landscape.

As a current member of Parliament and member of the Parliament’s Committee for Foreign Affairs and Defense, she brings not only her PM experience but also very current engagement in this space.

This free public talk will explore questions of preparedness, democratic resilience, and international leadership in a time of increasing uncertainty—and what the Nordic perspective can offer the world. Audience questions are encouraged!
