Yulefest

a Nordic Christmas Celebration

FESTIVAL
Nov 18 - 19

Come celebrate 40 years of Yulefest—and the very last event at our current location!

Yulefest is the annual Christmas celebration at Nordic Heritage Museum. Vendors sell handcrafted wares, and traditional Scandinavian Christmas food and drinks are sold. There is music and dancing, plus a visit from Santa, a raffle with fantastic prizes, and a Silent Auction. Yulefest is a 40-year-strong tradition in Ballard, and this year’s will be bigger and better than ever! Join us from 10am to 5pm both days, Saturday and Sunday, November 18 & 19.

Is this an event for kids?

Yes! Yulefest is family-friendly event. Although there is a 21+ section where we’ll be serving alcohol, most of Yulefest is perfect for kids. There will be kids' crafts, visits with Santa, and the whole Nordic Heritage Museum to explore!

How much does it cost?

Adult admission is $5 per person. Kids twelve and under are admitted for free.
Admission is complimentary for Nordic Heritage Museum Members.

I'd like to help! Can I volunteer?

Yes! We depend on the support of hundreds of volunteers to make our big events a success. Learn more

Will the exhibitions be open during Yulefest?

Due to Yulefest preparations, our exhibition areas will be closed to the public. General admission to the Museum will be free from Tuesday, November 14 to Friday, November 17.
