Authentic Nordic Treats

The weekend-long festival presents an authentic, Nordic holiday experience. Throughout the museum guests will have opportunities to peruse booths selling artisan goods, enjoy musical and dance performances, and taste traditional Nordic holiday cuisine — including vínarterta, lefse, æbleskiver, and glögg, a hot spiced wine and the toast of the Valhalla!

  • Nordic Pavilion (heated tent): Valhalla Beer Garden, the Nordic Grill, Informational Booth, Yulefest Silent Auktion, Vendors
  • Santa
  • Nordic Café (auditorium): A menu of sweet and savory Nordic fare, including authentic open-faced sandwiches
  • Kafestuga and Æbelskiver (1st floor)
  • Vendors (located throughout museum)

Goodies2Go  is a fan favorite at the Yulefest celebration. Located along the main hallway leading up to the auditorium, Goodies2Go is a hub filled with home-baked, traditional Nordic treats from all the Nordic regions. All of these delicious goodies are beautifully packaged and make perfect holiday gifts for friends and family — you may also be tempted to take an assortment home to enjoy yourself!
