Ready for a creative challenge? Seattle-based artist Anna Brones returns for a special bird edition of her popular virtual papercutting class, inspired by our current special exhibition, Søren Solkær: Sort Sol! See below for required materials.

This virtual class will take place on Zoom. Login information will be sent via email.

Required Materials:
  • A craft knife + extra blades (Anna recommends this one)
  • Self-healing cutting mat
  • Printer paper (for sketching and practicing cutting)
  • Heavier paper (for final papercuts). Anna mostly cuts in black paper, but you can choose what you would like. Anna recommends Canson Mi-Teintes 98 lb (this comes in a variety of colors too!)
  • Pencil
  • Eraser
  • Ruler
