"Project Aurora" Watercolors with Willow Heath

Join local artist Willow Heath for a 2-hour watercolor class at the National Nordic Museum, celebrating the acquisition of Project Aurora. Willow will guide you in creating your own stunning watercolors of the Aurora Borealis. End the evening by experiencing the installation at night with a cup of hot chocolate!

Required materials:

  • Watercolor paints
  • 1 wash brush, 1 inch flat
  • 1 round fine tip, brush size 4-9
  • Optional: 1 Sakura brand gelly roll gel pen in WHITE, size .08 or 10

Watercolor paper and artists tape will be provided, but please bring your own watercolor paints and brushes. This class is limited to 15 students.

    Willow Heath is a watercolor artist, illustrator, storyteller, and art instructor. Willow has been exhibiting her paintings in galleries and museums since 1996 and has been instructing art courses throughout the Seattle area since 2000.
