Capture the warmth of the summer sun in this introductory cyanotype workshop.

Local artist Kayla Ann will lead students through the process of creating a summer themed composition drenched in PNW flora and fauna, Nordic inspired motifs, and symbols from the Swedish summer tradition of kräftskiva (a crayfish party).

Foraged plants and folk inspired stencils will be provided. Students are encouraged to bring their own unique plant cuttings and personal objects to adorn their project. Two cyanotypes on paper will be created during this workshop.

We will be indoors and outdoors for this class. Please bring what you need to feel comfortable outside ex. a water bottle, SPF, and a snack.
