Note: this event is now SOLD OUT. For questions, please email kated@nordicmuseum.org.

Join us for a holiday-themed papercutting workshop with Anna Brones! In this season of Advent we're focusing on slowing down and creating moments of warmth and joy, and the same goes for this class. Together we'll work on creating our own holiday-themed designs to turn into a final papercut. Perfect to gift someone special! See below for required materials.

This virtual class will take place on Zoom. You will receive log in information via email.

Please note: this class takes place in Pacific time.

The materials you'll need for this class are:

  • A craft knife + extra blades (Anna recommends this one)
  • Self-healing cutting mat
  • Printer paper (for sketching and practicing cutting)
  • Heavier paper (for final papercuts). Anna mostly cuts in black paper, but you can choose what you would like. Anna recommends Canson Mi-Teintes 98 lb (this comes in a variety of colors too!)
  • Pencil
  • Eraser
  • Ruler
